Calgary–Waterton Lakes National Park

This morning over breakfast,enjoy breathtaking views from the CALGARY TOWER. Travel south by motorcoach to see HEAD-SMASHED-IN BUFFALO JUMP, one of the world’s oldest, largest, and best preserved buffalo jumps. Designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1981, the site has been used continuously by aboriginal peoples of the plains for more than 5,500 years. Overnight in majestic Waterton Lakes National Park.(B,D)
Waterton Lakes National Park–Glacier National Park
This morning, cross the Montana border to visit Glacier National Park. Board a vintage “RED JAMMER” for an unforgettable journey over the “Going-to-the-Sun Highway.” This high-elevation road is acclaimed as one of the most scenic roadways of the world! View glacial lakes, cedar forests, alpine vistas, and sweeping valleys. Stop at Lake McDonald for an independent lunch before continuing to the Grouse Mountain Lodge, where you are welcomed to the rustic luxury of a classic western lodge.(B,D)
Whitefish–Lake Louise
Today, travel north into British Columbia to visit FORT STEELE HERITAGE TOWN, which evokes an era when time moved more slowly and when life appeared simpler. Today’s route travels through Radium Hot Springs, Kootenay National Park, and the steep red cliffs of Sinclair Canyon. Day’s end finds you in the pristine setting of Lake Louise.(B,D)
Lake Louise–Icefields Parkway–Jasper
After a leisurely morning departure, turn north along the Icefields Parkway—one of the world’s most scenic highways. In the very heart of the Rockies, snow-covered peaks, glaciers, and azure-blue lakes surround you. Witness the beauty and wonder of serene Bow Lake, Crowfoot Glacier, Mistaya Valley, and the Weeping Wall. At the Columbia Icefields, stop and enjoy an “ICE EXPLORER” tour on the 1,000-foot-thick Athabasca Glacier. Our travel continues on the Icefields Parkway, past towering peaks and immense hanging glaciers, to Jasper National Park.(B)

This morning, enjoy an included CRUISE to Spirit Island on nearby Maligne Lake. The remainder of the day is at leisure to enjoy the wonderful town of Jasper and its surroundings, or perhaps play a round of golf.(B,D)
Jasper–Banff
Travel south from Jasper to Athabasca Falls, a thundering cascade that carves away at its limestone cliffs, and view Peyto and Bow Lakes. Today’s journey ends in the world-famous town of Banff, your home for the next two-nights.(B)
Banff
A leisurely morning tour of Banff includes Bow Falls and Tunnel Mountain. You may opt for a gondola ride to the top of 7,500 foot Sulphur Mountain. The afternoon is at leisure for shopping, a round of golf, or a relaxing swim in the hot springs. Tonight, enjoy a farewell dinner hosted by your Brennan Tour Director.(B,D)
