Welcome to Calgary! Your Canadian Rockies vacation begins with tonight’s welcome reception hosted by your Brennan Tour Director. (WR)
Day 2: Monday June, 11 
Calgary–Banff
This morning over breakfast, enjoy breathtaking views from the CALGARY TOWER. Later, travel west by motorcoach from Calgary into the Canadian Rockies and the lovely alpine wonderland surrounding the charming resort village of Banff. A leisurely tour of Banff includes Bow Falls, Tunnel Mountain, and Surprise Corner. (B,D)
Day 3: Tuesday June, 12 (Calgary)
Banff. Excursion to Lake Louise
This morning, travel to see the crown jewels of the Rockies: Lake Louise and Moraine Lake. Enjoy a sumptuous buffet lunch at the famous Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise Hotel. Before returning to Banff, visit the Valley of the Ten Peaks, which frames picturesque Moraine Lake. This afternoon, there is more time for independent activities. (B,L)
Day 4: Wednesday June, 13 (Calgary)
Banff–Icefields Parkway–Jasper
Travel the awe-inspiring Icefields Parkway, past towering peaks and immense hanging glaciers, to Jasper National Park. View sapphire Peyto Lake and thundering Athabasca Falls, and ride an exciting “ICE EXPLORER” on the 1,000-foot-thick Athabasca Glacier. Your overnight destination is the charming village of Jasper located in Jasper National Park. (B,D)
Day 5: Thursday June, 14 (Calgary)
Jasper
This morning, enjoy an included CRUISE to Spirit Island on nearby Maligne Lake. The remainder of the day is at leisure to enjoy the wonderful town of Jasper and its surroundings. Perhaps play a round of golf? This is a day of relaxation in a breathtaking setting. (B)
Day 6: Friday June, 15 (Calgary)
Jasper–Blue River
Today, travel southwest along the Yellowhead Highway, route of the original Hudson Bay Company fur traders. On arrival at scenic Blue River, relax at a lovely lakeside resort featuring beautifully crafted log chalets. This afternoon, enjoy a JET BOAT RIDE on the Blue River. (B,D)
Day 7: Saturday June, 16 (Whistler)
Blue River–Whistler
This morning you will travel past some of the most rugged and beautiful lakes in British Columbia en route to the world-renowned mountain resort village of Whistler, soon to be host to the 2010 Winter Olympics. (B,D)
Day 8: Sunday June, 17 (Vancouver)
Whistler–Vancouver
A delightful journey on WHISTLER MOUNTAINEER rail leads from Whistler through the rugged Cheakamus Canyon, backed by 8,000-foot mountains, such as Diamond Head and Black Tusk. Then the route hugs the shore of fjord-like Howe Sound to Horseshoe Bay, and turns east to one of Canada’s most dynamic and beautiful cities, Vancouver. (B)
Day 9: Monday June, 18 (Vancouver)
Vancouver Sightseeing
This morning in Vancouver, enjoy an included city tour with visits to wooded Stanley Park, Queen Elizabeth Park, Chinatown, and the Harbourfront. The remainder of the day is at leisure. Tonight, enjoy dinner at the soaring CAPILANO SUSPENSION BRIDGE. (B,D)
Day 10: Tuesday June, 19 (Victoria)
Vancouver–Victoria
Enjoy a picturesque cruise through the Gulf Islands toward Vancouver Island and the very charming city of Victoria. Upon arrival, visit BUTCHART GARDENS. This estate offers more than 700 varieties of flowers on 130 acres and includes Italian, Japanese, and English-style gardens. Then discover British Columbia’s capital with a city tour, including the Inner Harbour. (B)
Day 11: Wednesday June, 20 (Victoria)
Victoria
Today is at leisure to do as you please. Perhaps enjoy high tea at the Fairmont Empress Hotel, stroll around the Parliament buildings, or shop among the many stores this charming city has to offer. You may wish to visit the Royal British Columbia Museum, which showcases the human and natural history of British Columbia, or take an exciting whalewatching excursion. Tonight, your Brennan Tour Director hosts a farewell dinner. (B,D)
Day 12: Thursday June, 21 (Victoria)
Victoria–Vancouver
Another lovely ferry ride takes you back to the British Columbia Mainland and the Vancouver Airport. You arrive at approximately noon. Plan your flight home for 2 p.m. or later. (B)
