Later, travel through desert landscapes of Sedona, famous for its spectacular red-rock surroundings. A PINK JEEP TOUR shows you the natural and geological history of this magnificent landscape. This afternoon, drive through Oak Creek Canyon, one of the most scenic drives in the United States, then up to the South Rim of the dramatic Grand Canyon. (B,D)

After several photo stops along the rim of the GRAND CANYON, continue into Navajo and Hopi Indian Country. This evening, secluded Goulding’s Lodge and Trading Post offers expansive views over Monument Valley, with its awesome monoliths of stone. (B,D)

In the cool hours of morning, set off with a Navajo guide in a comfortable all-terrain vehicle to explore Monument Valley. Your overnight destination features sweeping views over the lake. (B,D)

Today, enjoy a leisurely boat CRUISE on Lake Powell, to photograph the fascinating scenes created by the sharply eroded canyon walls. The afternoon is at leisure to explore on your own–perhaps go swimming, take a selfdrive motorboat tour, or try fishing, kayaking, or hiking. (B,D) Optional Flightseeing: During leisure time, you may choose to take an optional narrated flight over Monument Valley and/or the shimmering blue waters of Lake Powell, which offers the thrill of a lifetime. The nature-sculpted landscape presents unparalleled beauty as you soar in a small, fixed-wing aircraft. A day of rich contrasts leads you to BRYCE CANYON NATIONAL PARK. The slow erosion of ages has created fantastically sculptured rock formations resembling castle towers and cathedral spires. The natural amphitheatres and canyons glow with different lights throughout the day. (B,D)

After a leisurely morning, descend into half-mile deep ZION NATIONAL PARK. Colorful sandstone walls rise thousands of feet above the lush greenery of the canyon floor. (B,D)
